WAT? is a first-person open world sandbox game with dark humor. The game takes place in a small provincial town. The protagonist of the game is a serious elderly businessman named Bill Board. Today is Saturday and Bill decided to take the day off to take a break from work. Saturday is a great day for shopping, and Bill just needs to buy new underpants, a tie, visit the Town Hall (Bill was turned off the water for non-payment), wash his car, wish his neighbor a happy birthday and much more things.

However, this will not be as easy as it seems, because all the people in the town seem to have gone crazy. It turns out that an unknown virus somehow got into the water supply, so all the people became very strange and all the time want to kill Bill and each other. Bill is the only one left sane, because he has no water in his house. And this means that you will constantly find yourself in various funny situations.
