Signal Drift is a CRT-noir hacking thriller set inside SignalOS: a fictional desktop rig full of terminals, files, markets, mail, IRC rooms, live records, and people who lie for a living.

You are not just clicking through missions. You are reading the room, chasing evidence, moving between hosts, copying files, grepping logs, buying tools, taking contracts, and deciding who gets burned when the receipts surface.

SIGNAL GHOST

Signal Ghost is the character-driven local AI layer inside Signal Drift.

It powers IRC chatter, private DMs, mission fallout, market rumors, threats, debriefs, and relationship conversations. Characters remember more of your history, react to pressure, and shift tone based on trust, heat, betrayal, and what happened in your run.

Ask for help. Push too hard. Waste time. Accuse someone. Flirt with the wrong person. Signal Ghost is built to make the world feel occupied, not scripted.

CORE LOOP

- Discover hosts, credentials, files, logs, services, and evidence.

- Use shell-style commands like ls, cd, cat, grep, find, ssh, scp, ps, netstat, ip, journalctl, dmesg, and sudo.

- Explore fake but believable systems: workstations, servers, routers, switches, old Linux boxes, Windows shares, embedded devices, record systems, and strange internal tools.

- Run jobs, survive consequences, build rapport, unlock endings, and carry scars into future runs.
