So, what's it like being a suit pilot?
It's...different. Half of it's familiar, like something from a dream. The other half doesn't make any sense at all.
How so?
The interface...you'd think they'd give you a cockpit. Joystick, throttle...you know, the basics. Instead they catapult you off into space and it's just you out there.
A catapult? In space?
Yeah, like from those old school naval carriers. They say it's for "high speed entry with physical protection under combat conditions". But I'm pretty sure the bastard who designed it just did it for the thrill of it.
Ahh... And then you're off flying with those hand-jets. My friend, that does sound very thrilling but I don't remember you as one to handle combat conditions.
It's like riding a bike. Standard FPS skills we did back at the academy. A few heavier weapons on cooldowns. Great against smaller ships and turret emplacements. But doesn't do a damn thing to the capital ships themselves. Got to call in our own cap ships for that.
Wait... They just gave a new pilot command of the fleet?
Yup. I'm the one in the field. I've got eyes on what the enemy's running so they trust me to make the right call. It's not too tough. Railguns for armored targets, beam weapons for everything else. That's handled most of what we've come up against so far.
I thought there were nukes? I definitely saw nukes in your last comm vid.
They haven't let me play with those yet. Working my way up the tech tree as they used to say... Damn, that's me. I gotta run. Linking up with the Nemesis for something new. Grab the tab?

Orbital Strike VR is a space combat simulator built from the ground up for VR. Some things will be familiar and a few things may surprise you but we've striven to build a fun and memorable sci-fi adventure for the VR community.
Orbital Strike VR supports all the expected comfort and locomotion options with teleporting, smooth locomotion, snap rotation, smooth rotation (with sub-options for snap amounts and rotation speeds), and comfort vignettes. Players can play seated, standing, or within their play area. There are also smooth and third-person external cameras available for audiences and recording gameplay.
One of our goals is to respect your time and so we focused on providing a polished adventure with unique gameplay. Players can expect a 4-hour main Starfall Campaign that can be played single-player or online co-op. Once familiar with the concepts, there is a 2-hour challenging bonus mission for single-player and co-op. Additionally, there is a free-fly mode for players looking for a more relaxing and social space.

Game Information
Orbital Strike VR is a space combat simulator built from the ground up for VR. Some things will be familiar and a few things may surprise you but we've striven to build a fun and memorable sci-fi adventure for the VR community.
- Story-rich sci-fi campaign: with some great voice acting from an amazing crew.
- Space combat simulator: Beautiful fleet battles with you right in the middle of it all. This is indie VR, we can take some risks. So instead of a cockpit we launch you out of the carrier with intuitive hand-jet flight mechanics.
- First Person Shooter: A set of standard, heavy, and utility personal weapons are available for pilots to destroy smaller fighters, turrets, and sub-systems on capital ships. These are key to opening a path for your fire support assets.
- Tactics: The only way to kill capital ships is by commanding your own. You will configure your own fleet on the fly and call them in as fire support, commanding them all together or individually.
- Drop-in online co-op: While fully playable as a single-player experience, at any time you can invite your friends to fly, fight, and command together.
