 In Crop Dead, you play as a ghost tethered to a very vulnerable physical body trapped inside a coffin. Your goal? Drag your remains to the top of an infinitely scaling, dark fantasy tower to perform a resurrection ritual. The problem? The tower is swarming with oozing, leaping slimes eager to snack on your earthly vessel.

FARM YOUR ARSENAL

You can't punch a slime as a ghost, but you can garden. Spend harvested Soul Essence to plant an array of deadly, magical crops in the heat of battle:

• Active Weapons: Grow and harvest Plant Boomerangs, explosive Potato Mines, and heavy Pumpkin Bowling Balls to personally blast through the horde.

• Automated Sentinels: Cultivate a defensive line of auto-firing Eye Monsters, grasping Zombie Hands, and bone-tossing Skeletons to hold the line while you tend to the rest of your crops.

PROGRESSION & SYNERGY

Out-scaling the horde is the only way to survive. Carefully manage your Soul Essence economy to buy temporary damage boosts and crucial heals from the Wandering Merchant. Survive a brutal 10-wave floor, defeat the boss, and claim powerful, game-changing Relics to define your build:

• The Briar Heart: Fortify your coffin with protective graveyard brambles.

• Necro-Fertilizer: Supercharge your soil to cut crop growth times in half.

• Frostbite Bone: Massively boost the attack speed of you and your sentinels.

• Void Soul: Ramp up your essence generation to fund a massive undead army.

DYNAMIC ROGUELIKE ACTION

With rocks dynamically blocking your lanes, slimes mutating to leap over your defenses, and massive boss variants dropping in to crush your coffin, you have to constantly adapt. Balance your time between harvesting weapons, laying traps, and directly engaging the horde in fast-paced, arcade-style combat.
