First Game developed by Maël Boucault, 19 years old, studying video game design. Almost a thousand hours of work, for the first version and I plan to release updates to add new features.
The world I live in is boring, I played the game to get out of it, now I want to create worlds to entertain myself and have fun.
I created AtomicPunch Studio to release this game.
Quick Description
Guided and created by the gods, you are the hero that people need.
Kill the demons that threaten the kingdom of Valheron and help the villagers rebuild their villages.
Explore the world to form a combat team.
In the kingdom of Valéron, a fearsome swordsman named Kwang arrives in a village on the brink of destruction. A demonic rift has opened, releasing an ancient demon named Sevarog, who threatens to engulf the entire world in a wave of darkness. During his journey, Kwang will befriend two unlikely allies: Gideon, a powerful sorcerer, and Crunch, a robot with mysterious origins. Together, they will have to join forces to save Valhéron.
GamePlay:
- Three-Hero Team:
The player can switch between Kwang, Gideon, and Crunch, each character with unique abilities. Kwang is a master of the sword, fast and effective in close combat. Gideon masters ranged magic, able to manipulate the elements. Crunch is a heavy fighter, with brute strength and mechanical abilities.
- Dynamic Combat System:
Real-time combat with the ability to create combos between characters. Kwang can unleash powerful attacks while Gideon and Crunch support with spells and heavy attacks.
- Exploration and Puzzle Solving:
Ancient ruins and temples are filled with mysteries to solve. Each character is essential to advance, whether it is to break walls (Crunch), manipulate objects from a distance (Gideon), or unlock hidden passages with combat techniques (Kwang).
- Progress through friendships:
The relationships between Kwang, Gideon and Crunch develop as the story progresses. Interactive dialogues allow them to strengthen their bonds, which influences certain abilities or unlocks side quests.
Different Locations
- Telmara:
Telmara is a small village located on the borders of the kingdom of Valheron, nestled in the heart of a once prosperous valley now ravaged by darkness. Once renowned for its peaceful nature, its flourishing crops and its trade with the other regions of the kingdom, Telmara is now prey to fear since the demonic rift was opened. The village has become a symbol of resistance against the demonic invasion. This village on the brink of ruin is the first line of defense against the darkness, but also the place where Kwang, Gideon, and Crunch begin their journey to save Valheron.
- Arghona Iron Mines:
The Arghona Iron Mines, once a symbol of power and prosperity, are now a dark, dangerous place corrupted by ancient and evil forces. Located in the rugged mountains east of the kingdom of Valheron, the mines were once a major economic center, providing not only iron, but also rare and precious metals, such as silver and gold, used to craft weapons and enchanted items.
However, these mines hide a dark past. What was once a blessing to the realm has become a hotbed of corruption and demonic curses since explorers discovered a forbidden relic in its depths, opening a rift to a hellish dimension.
The Arghona Iron Mines are an iconic location in the Valheron universe, a place both frightening and fascinating, where ancient technology and demonic magic collide, and heroes must brave colossal forces to save the world.
- The Canyon of Tears:
The Canyon of Tears is a vast, eerie and steep ravine that stretches between the Arghona Iron Mines and the Whispering Forest, where the Temple of Ruin is located. This place is an ancient valley that, according to local legends, was carved out by the tears of the gods after a cataclysmic war between ancient peoples and demonic forces. Since then, the region has been marked by an aura of sadness and desolation.
The Canyon of Tears takes its name from the salty rivers that flow at the bottom of the ravine, formed by the tears shed by the people and the gods, in mourning after the fall of an ancient empire. This region was once a sacred place, where the people of Valheron came to pray for mercy from the gods after battles. But over time, the energy that permeated this canyon darkened, and the demons released by the rift of the Temple of Ruin began to sow chaos there.
Today, the canyon is a deserted place, where echoes of the complaints and cries of lost souls still resonate. It is an obligatory passage for travelers who dare to venture between the two cursed places, but it is also one of the most dangerous in Valheron.
- The Temple of Ruin:
The Temple of Ruin is a mysterious and ancient place, lost in the heart of the jagged mountains of Valheron. Once a sacred sanctuary dedicated to the protective gods of the kingdom, it has become over the centuries a bastion of darkness and curses, forgotten by time. Today, this temple is at the center of the tragic events that shake Valheron, for it houses the demonic rift through which the demon Sevarog began to invade the world.
The temple was built at a time when the first kings of Valheron sought to seal away dangerous mystical forces. Legends say that the gods themselves helped erect this structure to imprison otherworldly entities, too powerful to be destroyed. Orders of monks and priests once lived here, watching over the magical seals that held back these dark powers.
However, over the centuries, the temple was abandoned after a war between neighboring kingdoms. The seals that kept the rift under control weakened, until Sevarog, a powerful demon imprisoned in the depths of the temple, managed to break them, causing the current catastrophe.
