Every song contains 4 difficulty levels, so whether you're just beginning to type, or are already an expert typist, the game has something for everyone to enjoy. With comprehensive play statistics and high score tracking, you can monitor your progress over time on your journey to become a better typist.

Customize your typing experience

Common keyboard layouts like QWERTY and DVORAK are supported by default, and you can even setup your own custom keyboard layouts. You can customize fonts, select a cute typing avatar, and enable a wide variety of effects, such as 'Mirror' or 'Vanish,' for wacky new challenges. Experienced rhythm gamers will be happy to find familiar options such as scroll speed and visual offset, in addition to plenty of options to customize the display.

Hone your typing skills in Practice Mode

In practice mode, players can focus on improving their typing skills at their own pace. Select a comfortable tempo, a set of keys to practice, and level up your typing skills in a survival or time-based typing session. Users will have the ability to select different types of note sequences to practice, such as 'Random characters,' '3-digit numbers,' or '5-letter English words', with a customizable frequency of each sequence and breaks in between. Use practice mode to increase your typing speed, get better at typing specific keys, or even learn a brand new keyboard layout for fun!

Create your own charts with Typechart Studio

Typing Tempo allows you to add your own music and levels to play, which can be created in Typechart Studio, a simple but powerful chart editor for the game. Typechart Studio contains all the tools needed to efficiently create levels, allowing you to easily specify tempo changes, craft and modify note sequences, and add extra gimmicks like stops and skips. With 41 keys to choose from, the charting possibilities are truly endless!
