Rooms Within is a first person single player psychological horror game. It is based on the urban legend of backrooms. View the backrooms through the lens of a VHS camera. The game has 4 levels and each level provides a unique experience to the player.

You travel through a worm hole . It is possible for wormholes to connect extreme distances -- such as a billion light years -- or short distances -- such as a few meters -- or time and space, or even universes.
In order to understand what a worm hole is, as a scientist. You enter into a disparate place in universe where everything seems strange.
There are some spaces that don't behave as you expect them to. Their loops continue forever, they twist, they turn, and they relocate. They do all sort of things that to our mind they shouldn’t. You feel something off about the place. Something which is not safe.
If you decide to go into the backroom, you must keep in mind that it may be occupied by others. Some of them may be wanderers like you, who haven’t found their way or perhaps who have always been there. They are entities you should stay away from.
You need to unlock several areas within the place to advance, and you need to look for elements that will help you progress. Though you try to escape, the strangeness of the place remains a mystery.
