Gravscape
Gravscape
Launch into a tiny, terrible orbit of chaos. Gravscape is a 2D side-view arcade platformer built around one brilliant idea: one button to flirt with gravity. Click to attract to nearby planets; release to free-fall — chain slingshot swings, nail-perfect releases, and split-second choices turn every run into a ballet of momentum and risk.
Travel with the help of eight wildly different planets (plus a gusty wind hazard and unpredictable meteors). You do not enter planetary orbits — the planets sit like the bouncy bumpers in a pinball machine laid out in a row, and you swing around them. Each planet changes how you move and survive — some clutch you tight, some fling you fast, some… kill you — and a collectible constellation of stars rewards daring routes. Levels appear as handcrafted challenges or procedurally generated infinite runs, with or without the additional spice of upgrades. Thirty short, razor-sharp handcrafted levels teach the mechanics and provide fun challenges, then punish your hubris with rankings from E to S.
Three main ways to play: survive as long as you can for high scores in Infinite mode, embrace the Rogue-like where every 10 points grants a power-up (wider FOV, speed boosts, planet-specific protections), or simply complete the pre-crafted levels. Global leaderboards track the best runs and reset from time to time, while local grading and speed runs reward precision and stubborn replay.
Collect 20+ unlockable skins (complete with terrible puns and achievement requirements), flip through a Planet Book filled with useless facts and practical stats, and chase tiny margins of improvement in runs that usually take ~6 seconds — until one more try becomes ten more.
Short, vicious, and oddly charming, Gravscape is a very unusual platformer: one button, infinite consequences. Can you beat gravity at its own game?
