GOBBLES
is a 2.5D survival adventure game about everyday underground life. You play as a Gobbles, one of many underground folk such as goblins or mouseling creatures, trying to survive, experiment, and slowly get rich without any heroic destiny.
There is no main quest and no world to save. Your goal is simple. Eat, work, survive, and become a wealthy Gobbles.
Players choose how to live their underground life. You can dig through caves in search of valuable resources, run small underground farms, cook meals from questionable ingredients, experiment with strange materials, or spend your time hunting for rare mushrooms. Curiosity is often rewarded, but sometimes punished.
Survival is driven by hunger and preparation. Food and supplies must be gathered and protected. At night, mischievous underground creatures roam the caves and steal unguarded resources, turning poor planning into an empty stomach.
Crafting and cooking are based on experimentation rather than known recipes. Meals and upgrades are discovered by combining different ingredients. Only the correct combinations unlock new dishes, effects, and progression.
There is no direct combat system. Dangerous underground beasts and bosses are overcome by solving environmental puzzles and using preparation, logic, and the tools you have crafted instead of fighting.
As you progress, you unlock new playable races. Each race has unique racial traits that change how survival and progression work. Different races encourage different playstyles.
The world is divided into multiple zones, including surface life, underground settlements, and deep caverns. Each area offers unique resources, dangers, and opportunities to experiment.
GOBBLES can be played solo or in co op. Whether alone or with others, underground life is messy, hungry, and often ridiculous.
This is not a story about heroes. It is a story about hunger, work, bad decisions, and goblin life.
